Go take the plunge and let your soul fly high!
It cries for liberation from the foul
cocoon of darkened bushels that defy
all egress. Light can’t flee from shady cowl.
We were created by our Father want-
ing us to shine our light for all to see.
If we but share our inner joys a font
of everlasting happiness and glee
will flow forever, carr’ing us through times
of trouble. Though the trials of daily life
can overwhelm our weary hearts and minds,
enthusiastic action calms the strife.
’Tis false humility to think our light
is nothing special. Dig in with your might!

Look out of a door with a wondrous gaze.
Then stomping around in the cool, wet rain.
The falling white snow tickles on your tongue.
Bask in the warmth of the sun.
The clouds passing by slowly watch them change.
Oh feel the earth shake as the train goes by.
Laugh rolling down grassy hills wet with dew.
Peek through the trees at a frog.

Napoleon Hill spent twenty years interviewing the most successful people in the world to make the “secret” of success available to everybody. He starts with the keystone in chapter one of his classic Think and Grow Rich: to become crystal clear about a passionate purpose.
This morning an acquaintance sent a link to a U.S. Today article, In Firms, Investors Tend to Prosper with Founders at the Helm. A three-word sentence caught my eye as it echoed Hill’s experience of meeting and interviewing the great producers of his time.
Schwab says he has met many members of the club, including those who join him on the Forbes 400 list of richest Americans: Jobs, Smith, Ellison, Warren Buffett, Michael Dell and Alfred West…. “They have purpose,” Schwab says.
They have purpose. The article rushes past this gem to declare the reporter’s opinions. While the other items may have merit, they do not exhibit the same quality that the concise “They have purpose” possesses: vitality. If one removes definite purpose from the lives of any one of the superstars that the article references, their achievements would never have materialized, and the world would never have benefited from the creation of their minds.
Being a principle, the astonishing power of purpose is universal: every man, woman, and child on our fair planet has access to it. Take care to not prejudge the outcome of enlivened passion. Unleashed, it will exceed every expectation. Have the courage to imagine it, clarify it, and become consumed by it. When we unleash the awesome creative power within us, our light will afford others a glimpse of the world from an inspired vantage point.
Love your life. Start with purpose, mix in passion.

Mount is here and I am climbing.
Doubt and fear are creeping inward.
Can I go up any higher?
On, the sheer face of the cliff looms!
Camouflaged are foot and toe holds,
lost in muddled grey and white hues.
Though the cliff be marred by wind and
rain and snowfall, still I climb up
to the summit of my worthy goal.
